Philosophy

Personality and uniqueness. These are the key words which inspire me when creating attractive and cosy interiors. My works aspire to confer a strong identity not only to formal and luxurious spaces but also to the common ones.

The place where we live should reflect our passions and transmit emotions, through the choice of textiles, colours, materials and fabrics, as well as books, objects and masterpieces.

Objective rules and parameters can annihilate the distinctive traits of the house owner’s daily life. So I believe that the style and the individuality of the owner have to emerge from the study of his future house. The house must tell its owner’s story, even by scarifying details and allowing for “imperfection”, in order to generate an interesting and charming effect.

Essential and equilibrated homes need the presence of meaningful and significant pieces, otherwise they could result arid and expectable. For me, sobriety is rarely expressive, while uncommon or recovery elements immediately confer charm and an ironic grandeur to domestic spaces.

As for decors, combinations of elements should ideally start and develop from a “key object”, like an armchair, a furniture or a lamp. What is important is not to distort the scenography, nor to exaggerate with exclusivity as it happens when focusing the attention to just one fulcrum.
Moreover, lighting is an essential component of the whole, as it allows colours to stand out. Meanwhile, the lines highlight the sculptural aspects of details we want to emphasise or hide defects and imperfections.

An advanced style implies an harmonious space. If functionality and aesthetics manage to coexist, the life of who lives the space will be better.

The interiors world that I like describing and realizing is mainly made up of handcraft, uniqueness and quality: three elements that have always been the distinctive features of the most exclusive Made in Italy. Architectural works are then completed by selected materials and technologies, applied to traditional manufacturing. Indeed objects are able to transmit a know-how consisting of creativity, history and experimentation, which make them unique and irreplaceable.

About

I was born in Terni, in the Umbria region of Italy, in 1973. Since I was a child, I’ve loved drawing houses and decors. Daily-life objects, full of memories and poetry, have always been my passion. Moreover, I had the pleasure to work very closely with prestigious names of the Italian design and fashion world. Through my work, I’d like to communicate the value of artisanal products made with the collaboration of excellent artisans, and the capacity to create scenographies using both luxurious and magic lost objects.
